In this concentrated exhibition, the artist Maria Hall (b. 1964) presents a series of new and older paintings and drawings inspired by the landscape paintings of Carl Fredrik Hill (1849–1911, Swedish) and Lars Hertervig (1830–1902, Norwegian). The presentation is shown in dialogue with the museum’s ongoing exhibition Hertervig–Hill. Dream and Reality.
